Ok so this 100 days of happy thing isn't going so well! I think I am just far too busy doing the happy things to write about them. I love the posts I have put up already and think I still have one more good one in me before I carry on with my normal blog posts :).
This post is about last weekend when I went away with the guides to PGL. This is an adventure holiday place where we got to stay in little cabbins (not camping at this time of year haha.) The girls know PGL to stand for Parents Get Lost.
They all had a great time and so did I. We tried loads of new things like the zip wire, raft building and then actually going on our raft (was a bit scary but I didn't fall in so yay), archery and aeroball (a mix of trampolining and net ball, it was amazing.)
The staff were lovely too and song funny songs with the girls which I still can't get out of my head. We had a real good laugh on the trip and l loved every minute of it.
From this trip I have taken away so many things (not just the annoying songs haha) inparticular a great way I think I am going to make everyday a happy day. We did so many fun and new outdoor activities and I want to do this more in my life. The guide leader told me about ways I can do this within guiding as a leader myself such as taking a group abroad on a residential or teaching archery at a local guide facility. Also I want to see if I can try new exciting water activities as I loved the raft building. Of course all these will also help me in my fight for fitness mentally and physically. Yay! Win, win!!
My song for this weekend is Set It Off "Why Worry." This is a song the older girls introduced my too and I completely agree with the lyrics and love the tune, been singing it all weekend (that and The Crazy Moose.)
Well this is the end of my happy posts but I am still going to strive for millions of happy days and you haven't heard the last of me yet :).
